Code execution via X_B parser out-of-bounds write
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Jan 22, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in pskernel.DLL in Autodesk AutoCAD-based products 2022 through 2025 allows local users to execute code via a crafted X_B file. The pskernel.DLL parser writes outside its intended memory boundary while processing untrusted Parasolid X_B content. Exploitation requires user interaction, and the flaw must be chained with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=2022 <2022.1.5
- Affected versionversion=2023 <2023.1.6
- Affected versionversion=2024 <2024.1.4
