Patient data disclosure via shared database password
Published Jun 10, 2024 · Updated Oct 3, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in drEryk Gabinet 7.0.0.0 through 9.17.0.0 allow local users to read sensitive patient database records. The application uses the same embedded database password across installations instead of an installation-specific secret. Database access and knowledge or extraction of that password are required, and the published consequence is retrieval of sensitive patient data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
