Authorization bypass via stale tracefs remount permissions

Incorrect authorization in tracefs in Linux 6.6.18 through 6.6.30 and 6.7.4 through 6.8.9 allows local users to retain access. During a uid= or gid= remount, tracefs updates entries inheriting root ownership but leaves user-modified inode and eventfs permission flags pinned to stale owners. A local account already granted tracefs access can preserve read or write permissions across an administrator's restrictive remount, exposing trace data or enabling tracefs changes and service interruption.
