Local service interruption via unfed soft-lockup watchdog

Denial of service in the Linux kernel allows local users to trigger a soft lockup during TD guest memory acceptance. The accept_memory() path leaves local interrupts disabled during time-consuming acceptance and fails to feed the soft-lockup watchdog before IRQ restoration. The condition requires a large TD guest and a one-second soft-lockup timeout, and the resulting CPU stall interrupts guest service.
