Kernel memory corruption via writeback connector type confusion

A slab out-of-bounds flaw in the AMD display driver in Linux 4.15 through 6.9-rc3 allows local users to corrupt kernel memory. AMD display commit paths treat a DRM writeback connector as a fully initialized display connector, causing reads and writes beyond its object. A local user with DRM-card access and DRM-master status can trigger the error with an atomic modeset request, causing kernel-memory disclosure, corruption, or a panic.
