Kernel access violation via unchecked hub lookup

NULL pointer dereference in Linux kernel releases starting at 6.0 allows local users to trigger an access violation during USB hub removal. The disable_store() and disable_show() paths in drivers/usb/core/port.c dereference the result of usb_hub_to_struct_hub() without checking whether concurrent hub removal made it NULL. Reachability requires a port attribute access to race with removal of its parent hub; the published record establishes an access violation but not a stable post-crash effect.
