CVE-2024-36775Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored script execution via raw biography output

Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Stored XSS in Monstra CMS 3.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted biography field on a profile. The profile handler stores the about_me POST value without sanitization, and the profile view returns that value as HTML without output encoding. A registered account and a second profile visit are required, limiting impact to browser-visible data and actions within the visitor's session.
