Process interruption via negative index selection
Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Denial of service in OneFlow 0.9.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt a process by passing a negative index to oneflow.index_select. The operator accepts a negative index even though its API requires index values to remain within the selected dimension range, and processing the invalid value interrupts the consuming process. Reachability requires an application to pass attacker-controlled tensor indices into this library call; no data-read or data-write impact is reported.
