CVE-2024-3674Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes

Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Stored cross-site scripting in Meitar Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer 0.13.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The gdoc shortcode accepts user-controlled attributes such as chart_resolution without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, placing attacker-supplied script into rendered pages. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes in a visitor's browser when the injected page is viewed and permits page-context data access or modification.
