Unauthenticated database compromise via facebookConnect.php SQL injection
Published Jun 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Promokit pkfacebook 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary database commands via HTTP requests. The facebookConnect.php Ajax script incorporates the id request parameter into a sensitive SQL call without neutralizing SQL syntax. Guest access is sufficient; exploitation can expose or delete store data, grant administrator access, and deploy a payment-card skimmer.
