CVE-2024-3659Network attack vector

Authenticated shell command execution via crafted endpoint request

Published Aug 8, 2024 · Updated Nov 17, 2025

OS command injection in KAON AR2140 firmware before 3.2.50 or 4.2.16 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands. A crafted request to an undisclosed administrative endpoint supplies attacker-controlled input to a shell command, but the affected parameter and code path are not public. Administrative-portal access is required; successful exploitation executes shell commands on the router.
