Prototype pollution in akbr update 1.0.0 allows local users to modify Object.prototype through a crafted property path. The update function traverses caller-controlled path keys and assigns the supplied value without rejecting proto or constructor.prototype keys. A caller must pass an attacker-controlled path; exploitation changes inherited properties across objects and can corrupt application logic.
