Code execution via unsafe prototype-path assignment

Prototype pollution in @allanlancioni/flatten-json 1.0.1 allows attackers to alter shared object properties through crafted keys. The unflattenJSON function splits dotted input keys and assigns each segment into ordinary objects without rejecting proto or constructor.prototype paths. Any application that passes attacker-controlled objects to this function exposes its process to logic corruption and code execution when a usable gadget is present.
