Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jun 3, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in SourceCodester Gas Agency Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The editClientImage.php handler accepts a multipart PHP file and stores it in the web-accessible assets/myimages directory without restricting its extension or content. A valid PHP session and access to the client-image edit action are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in the web server context.
