Database disclosure via injectable brand identifier
Published Jun 3, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Gas Agency Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to extract database content through the id parameter. The /gasmark/editbrand.php endpoint uses the id value as SQL syntax rather than binding it as data, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to return the active database name. CISA assesses exploitation as unauthenticated, although the published request carries a PHP session cookie and provides a login account, leaving the practical authentication gate unclear.
