Cluster takeover via stolen service account token

Incorrect access control in OpenKruise Kruise 1.6.2 allows attackers to read cluster Secrets using a stolen service account token. The disclosed path places a Kruise pod on an attacker-controlled worker node, where its mounted token is taken and presented to the Kubernetes API as the service account. Control of a worker node and the ability to steer the privileged pod onto it are required; the token's cluster-wide Secret access enables further privilege escalation, while the vendor states that kruise-daemon no longer has that access and kruise-manager normally runs in a secured pool.
