User enumeration via divergent login responses
Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Jan 15, 2025
Observable response discrepancy in Fortinet FortiClient EMS and FortiSOAR allows remote attackers to enumerate users via login requests. The login request handler returns observably different responses for valid and invalid usernames, creating a user-existence oracle. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of valid account names.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
