LocalSystem privilege escalation via hard-coded credentials

Use of hard-coded credentials in RICOH Streamline NX PC Client 3.7.2 and earlier allows local users to obtain LocalSystem access. Ricoh and JVN identify embedded credentials but do not disclose the credential's storage location, protected interface, or authentication flow. Local access to a Windows PC with the client installed is required; successful exploitation grants NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges for arbitrary operations on that PC.
