Authenticated service interruption via unsafe atob strings
Published Nov 26, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Access-control failure in Zabbix JS allows remote authenticated users to interrupt an affected Zabbix server or proxy. Its atob implementation creates arbitrary-content strings that access internal object properties instead of preserving their private status. Reachability requires low-privileged network access to script execution, and Zabbix has not published whether interruption occurs by crash or hang.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
