Unauthenticated access to a PAM endpoint
Published Jul 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Authentication bypass in Symantec Privileged Access Management 3.4.6 and 4.1.0 through 4.1.7 allows remote attackers to access a PAM endpoint. Broadcom identifies only a specific PAM endpoint and has not disclosed the endpoint, request path, handler, or failed authentication check. Exploitation requires adjacent network access and no credentials or user interaction; the published impact is limited to changing data on the PAM system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
