Administrative password recovery via unsalted MD5 hash

Weak password storage in Swissphone DiCal-RED 4009 allows attackers with device-file access to recover the administrative password offline. The /etc/deviceconfig file stores the device password as a plain, unsalted MD5 hash without a computational cost function. Access to that file is required; recovered credentials expose the administrative device interface and associated controls.
