Database modification via authenticated Alerts SQL injection
Published Jun 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SuiteCRM before 7.14.4 and 8.0.0 through 8.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The Alerts controller accepts insufficiently validated input for SQL processing, but published sources do not identify the parameter or query-building operation. A low-privileged account and network access are required; exploitation permits database changes and service interruption, with no reported data disclosure.
