Privilege escalation in Siemens SINEC NMS before 3.0 allows local users to execute operating system commands with SYSTEM privileges. The affected service names and trigger are undisclosed; Siemens states that a subset runs as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM with unnecessary privileges. A low-privileged local account is required, and successful exploitation grants command execution with full Windows system authority.
