Ring0 code execution via SMM input validation

Out-of-bounds write in AMD processor SMM firmware allows local administrators to execute code across an S3 sleep-wake transition. The SMM handler improperly validates attacker-controlled input, permitting a Ring0 caller to write into SMRAM and redirect the protected execution flow used when the system resumes from S3 sleep. Exploitation requires Ring0 privileges, high complexity, and a vulnerable firmware implementation; successful use compromises SMM code integrity during resume.
