Local code execution via crafted driver pointer
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in AMD Graphics Driver allows local users with low privileges to execute arbitrary code through a crafted pointer. AMD identifies improper pointer validation but has not disclosed the affected handler or how the driver writes beyond a buffer boundary. Successful exploitation requires local low-privilege access and can execute code across the driver's privilege boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
