CVE-2024-3631Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Twitter account disconnection via tokenless unlink request

Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Mar 25, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in Luke Lanchester HL Twitter through 2014.1.18 allows remote attackers to unlink a site's Twitter account. The admin.php settings action accepts a POST with action=unlink without a CSRF token check and clears the stored API tokens. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML, and it disconnects Twitter integration without granting broader site access.
