Authenticated command execution via crontab injection
Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Command injection in qos.cgi in Wavlink AC3000 M33A8.V5030.210505 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The qos_sta_settings function writes the time_control POST value to /vendor/time_control_sta_list without neutralizing shell syntax; sta_time_control.sh later places attacker-controlled fields into crontab entries. A valid administrator session and successful WAN-based NTP synchronization are required before the injected scheduled commands execute.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
