A NULL-pointer dereference in Intel Optane software before CR_MGMT_02.00.00.4040 or CR_MGMT_03.00.00.0499 allows local users to interrupt service. Intel has not published the affected function, the dereferenced pointer, or the local operation that supplies the triggering input. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and an additional execution condition; the reported consequence is limited to service interruption and low integrity impact.
