Subscriber-level data modification via unchecked AJAX handlers
Published Jun 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Kraft Plugins Wheel of Life 1.1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete posts and modify settings. Several AJAX handlers in includes/functions/AjaxFunctions.php invoke post-deletion and settings-update operations without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and successful requests can remove arbitrary posts or alter site configuration.
