Browser-session script execution via crafted link
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
DOM-based XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript via a crafted link. Adobe has not disclosed the affected client-side component or the DOM operation that processes attacker-controlled link data. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to follow the link, after which script runs in that victim's browser session and can read or modify session-accessible content.
