Stored script execution via unneutralized form fields
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. A vulnerable form field stores attacker-supplied script without neutralizing it and renders that script when another user opens the containing page. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to submit the field content and interaction from a victim; the script executes within that victim's AEM web session.
