Browser script execution via unsanitized form fields
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a victim's browser. A low-privileged user can place unsanitized JavaScript in a vulnerable form field, and AEM later renders the stored value to page visitors. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to open the affected page, exposing or altering data in that browser context.
