LDAP credential disclosure via anonymous setup registry
Published May 19, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Information disclosure in Tine before 2023.11.8 allows remote attackers to read LDAP authentication data through setup.php. Setup/Frontend/Json.php's getRegistryData() added loadAuthenticationData() output to the anonymous registry without checking for a registered setup user. Exposure requires an LDAP backend and an unprotected setup.php endpoint, and it discloses LDAP connection credentials without changing data or interrupting service.
