Blind OS command injection in EnGenius EWS356-FIT through 1.1.30 allows remote attackers to run commands via diagnostic parameters. The admin web panel’s Ping and Speed Test utilities pass metacharacter-bearing parameters to a root-privileged shell command without neutralization. Network access to the management interface is sufficient, and injected commands run with root-level permissions.
