Credential theft via pre-login plaintext database queries

Hard-coded credentials in Aptos WISAL before 7.16 allow man-in-the-middle attackers to obtain all application usernames and passwords. Before login, the Windows client uses installation-specific database credentials to query wi_users over an unencrypted Sybase ASE connection, then emits each account's cleartext password in GRANT CONNECT statements. Exploitation requires access to client-database traffic and exposes payroll data while enabling user impersonation that defeats audit attribution.
