Cross-user code execution via host-only ICE authorization

Improper access control in KSmserver in KDE Plasma Workspace before 5.27.11.1 and 6.x before 6.0.5.1 allows local users to execute code. KSmserver accepts every local Inter-Client Exchange connection after comparing only the peer host, rather than authenticating the client with ICE authority credentials. Another account on the same machine can plant session-restore data through /tmp, causing code to run as the victim at the victim's next boot.
