Local denial of service via IRQ lock reentry

Improper locking in Linux kernel 6.3 through 6.6.27, 6.7 through 6.8.6, and 6.9-rc1 through 6.9-rc3 allows local users to cause a deadlock. The ivpu_device context_xa is initialized without XA_FLAGS_LOCK_IRQ, so an interrupt can reacquire the lock while a kernel thread holds it. The condition requires local low-privileged access and Intel VPU driver activity, and the resulting lock reentry can hang context handling.
