Path-buffer underflow in Linux kernel btrfs send before 6.9 allows local users to read kernel addresses or crash the kernel. The iterate_inode_ref() path builder invokes BUG_ON when a reconstructed inode-reference path starts before its buffer instead of returning an error. Low-privileged local access and a btrfs send path that underflows the reconstruction buffer are required; no integrity impact is reported.
