Administrative command execution via elevated database server
Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
OS command execution in Siemens SIMATIC SCADA and PCS 7 products allows remote authenticated users to run commands as administrators. The products run their database server with elevated privileges, causing authenticated database command execution to cross into the operating system with administrative rights. High-privilege authentication is required, and successful exploitation grants arbitrary command execution with access to system data and services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
