CVE-2024-35744Network attack vector

Arbitrary file deletion via path traversal

Published Jun 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Path traversal in Ravidhu Dissanayake Upunzipper 1.0.0 and earlier allows attackers to delete arbitrary server files through its WordPress interface. Public records do not identify the vulnerable function or parameter; they state only that insufficient pathname restriction permits file manipulation. Published assessments disagree on the gate: Patchstack rates it unauthenticated, while NVD and Wordfence require administrator access; deletion can interrupt the site.
