CSRF in 10up ElasticPress 5.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger administrative sync and connection-retry actions. The WordPress admin request handlers accepted do_sync and ep-retry query parameters without verifying action-specific nonces, allowing an administrator's browser to start synchronization or clear cached Elasticsearch connection data. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit attacker-controlled content; the demonstrated effects are limited to unintended administrative actions.
