Authenticated server requests via Mailchimp region URL
Published Jun 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Creative Themes Blocksy Companion 2.0.42 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send server requests. The Mailchimp integration accepts a URL in the region portion of an API key and uses that value to form the outbound provider endpoint. High-privileged access to the integration settings is required, and crafted requests can reach destinations accessible to the WordPress server.
