Authenticated SQL injection via forwarded IP logging
Published Oct 15, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
SQL injection in openSIS Classic 8.0 and 9.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL via an HTTP header. The logging paths in Ajax.php, ForWindow.php, ForExport.php, Modules.php, and functions/HackingLogFnc.php concatenate X-Forwarded-For directly into SQL INSERT statements. A valid application session is required, and injected queries can read or alter the application database or interrupt database-backed service.
