Unauthenticated memory corruption via oversized IPTV VLAN
Published May 20, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AX1806 firmware 1.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through an IPTV request. The formSetIptv handler accepts an oversized iptv.city.vlan value that exceeds a stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, but attack complexity is high and the precise post-overflow outcome is not published.
