File disclosure, SSRF, and crash via XXE
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
XXE injection in Intersec Geosafe-ea 2022.12 through 2022.14 allows remote attackers to read files, issue SSRF requests, or crash the service. Published sources do not identify the XML-processing endpoint or parser; they establish that external entity resolution on attacker-controlled XML enables the behavior. No authentication or user interaction is required; file access is limited to the running process's privileges, while malicious entity processing can interrupt the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
