Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Daemon PTY Limited FarCry Core before 7.2.14 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted .cfm file. The directly accessible facade upload endpoint saves attacker-controlled files into a web-served directory without enforcing a file-type allowlist. No authentication is required, and requesting the uploaded ColdFusion file executes its code on the hosting server.
