Unauthenticated sensitive-data access via empty facade handler
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
Broken access control in Daemon PTY Limited FarCry Core before 7.2.14 allows remote attackers to access sensitive /facade data. The /webtop/facade/Application.cfc component replaces the parent /webtop request handler with an effectively empty subclass, so login and administrator checks never run for /facade requests. In the default configuration, no account is required, and exposed facade endpoints disclose sensitive functionality and data.
