Database disclosure via unsanitized username query
Published May 28, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
SQL injection in Men Salon Management System 2.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through an admin login request. The admin/index.php login handler incorporates the POST username value into a MySQL query without adequate validation or sanitization, enabling boolean- and time-based blind injection. The login endpoint is reachable before authentication, and a crafted username can bypass the login check and expose confidential database contents.
