Authenticated file disclosure via unsanitized log filename
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in WebToffee WP Backup and Migration 1.4.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary log files. The wp_mgdp_populate_popup function lacks a capability check and uses an unsanitized caller-supplied filename to select a log file. Subscriber-level WordPress access is sufficient, and the consequence is limited to reading log files from the server filesystem.
