CVE-2024-35429Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via eventRecord path traversal

Published May 30, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Path traversal in ZKTeco ZKBio CVSecurity 6.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files from the web server. The eventRecord request uses the user-controlled photoPath value to select a server file without restricting traversal outside its intended directory. A valid application session is required, and successful requests disclose files readable by the web-server account without altering them.
